A wonderfully clear, frosted day at Wild Northumbrian. Woodpeckers tapping nearby and frantic feeding at the bird feeders, with the surprise visit of a flock of Long Tailed Tits! Our Geese and Ducks are very used to the frosty days and happily gather around the fresh water and sit in the cool winter sunshine. Signs of Spring in the bird song that echoes around the woods. The unity between light and colour is singing loudly at this time of year so intense is the wintery browns of Heather against the icy blues of the sky. Such a happy song, such promise of another beautiful everchanging year here at Tarset!
